Born in Mexico but raised in Colorado Zulma has shown resilience through it all. She moved to the Western Slope in 2002. She was a stay at home mom and a laser tech in dermatology until 2020 when the pandemic required her to pursue different work. She’s been licensed since 2021 and passionate about helping people with anything, even beyond lending.
Since she was a little girl she always found herself being the translator for anyone in her community. That has taught her that she gets to pour into anyone’s life and that she’s much stronger than she gives herself credit for. Her goals are to reach out and continue serving and educating the Spanish community by helping them achieve the “American Dream.” Along with her husband, she has 2 Irish twins that are 364 days apart, and they are the reason she refuses to fail. They are both first generation children of immigrant parents, and they want to prove to their parents that their sacrifice was worth it. It also may shock you to know that her very first job was making bow strings for bows and arrows. We’re grateful for Zulma for helping the Aslan family hit the mark.
